These are estimates, not final prices.
Every animal finishes at a different weight. Your final cost is calculated from the actual hanging weight after processing. We will tell you the exact number before you owe anything.
Right now we are running about 3 to 3 months from deposit to pickup. It depends on where the animals are in their cycle. We will keep you posted the whole way.
Estimated hanging weight pricing
Pick a size. We will price the real thing after harvest.
1/4 Beef
A shared animal, enough for a small family.
1/2 Beef
Half an animal. Good for a couple or a young family.
Whole Beef
A whole animal. Enough for a big family or a full year.
Smaller shares cost a little more per pound. A quarter takes as much coordination as a whole, so the per-pound price reflects that.

How it works
From reservation
to your freezer
Pick your share size
Quarter, half, or whole. The bigger the share, the better the per-pound deal.
Place your deposit
The deposit holds your spot in line. It is applied to your final invoice.
We group your share
Once a full animal is reserved (four quarters, two halves, or one whole), we schedule processing with Tammy at Innovative Foods.
Cut sheet with the processor
Tammy will reach out directly. She will walk you through every cut. You decide what your family wants.
Final invoice based on hanging weight
We weigh the animal on the rail. Your final cost is calculated from the actual hanging weight. We tell you the exact number before you owe anything.
Pick up at Innovative Foods
Innovative Foods in Evans, Colorado will text and call you when your share is ready. Bring coolers.
Freezer calculator
How much meat do we actually need?
A typical small chest freezer is 5-7 cu ft. A standard upright runs 14-18 cu ft.
Based on your inputs, a half share is the best fit.
Your freezer is about 3 cu ft short for a half share.
A few ways this usually shakes out:
- Drop down to a smaller share size.
- Split the share with a friend or family member.
- Pick up a small chest freezer (about $250 to $400 at most appliance stores).
- Ask us. We have helped a lot of families figure this out.
